I have become addicted to this crazy Saturday morning show, LazyTown. I discovered it a couple of months ago when people were visiting and we were just kind of lazing around. It is about this strange pink haired girl who comes to a town of puppets, where the superhero is a very active man named Sporticus. It's trippy. I looked it up, and it has it's own site - LazyTown. It was created by this crazy aerobics Icelandic man. It all makes so much sense. It is so not an American-feeling kind of show. It is just hillarious. I am now watching the one hour special where pink-haired girl send Sporticus on vacation. Ah, Saturdays.
Speaking of lazy, we had a lazy kind of day yesterday. I worked long days for the past two weeks, so I took yesterday off to go to the beach. We drove down to Duxbury beach. We went in the water, had food from the stand, lazed around and read. When the clouds started to come in, we got our stuff together and went to get Dairy Queen, then drove home the long way, along the coast. Then we had Peking Duck with people who had lived in China, and it was awesome. I've never had Peking Duck before. We got more ice cream from Coldstone (which wasn't as great as I would have expected) then went to try to get a ride in the AeroBalloon over the city, but they had to close early because "winds aloft were picking up." We think the people operating the balloon just wanted to go and have a night on the town. We wandered around Beacon Hill and then came home. Nice, nice day off.
